Welcome to the second edition of “Food Guy Montreal’s 10 Questions”. This month, Brian Etcovitch, co-owner of SwUrl Frozen Yogurt and foodie extraordinaire will be answering this week. His passion for the do-it-yourself frogurt and the constant innovation of new flavors like bacon, passion fruit, and cupcake make him and SwUrl at the top of this refreshing food craze. I for one, really enjoyed the bacon flavor with the smoked hickory potato sticks as one of the toppings. It was unusual and fantastic. Thanks for doing this Brian! Here we go:

1. What are your 3 all time favorite restaurants in the world? (No particular order)

Edith’s (Cabo San Lucas, Mexico)

Sushi Dai @ Tsukiji Fish market (Japan)

Market. (Paris, France)

2. What would be your last meal?

My Aunts caesar salad with roasted chicken and an Arnold Palmer

3. If you were hosting a dinner party, which one guest would you invite? Dead or alive.

Kanye West

4. What is your signature dish?

Anything drenched in Sriracha or hot sauce

5. What is your favorite junk food?

stale sour gummies

6. What single food do you or would you go out of your way to have?

Any of the Brioches at Olive & Gourmando (I dream about them)

7. If you could eliminate one food from the world, what would it be and why?

Olives – they are just gross in appearance & taste

8. Single best childhood food memory.

Thinking the mini bar at our hotel was a free vending machine (my mother was not too pleased)

9. Describe the kitchen you grew up in.

Our kitchen is really our BBQ, we do everything on it all year round, Ive been grillin since I was able to see over the BBQ

10. What is your go-to comfort food?

Chinese Food
